East Ringwood is delighted to announce the appointment of Jacinta Lawson to the newly created role of Women’s Football Manager.
Initially reporting to and working in conjunction with Simon Moore (Club Football Manager on the Executive); Jacinta’s appointment reflects East Ringwood’s commitment to focused administration in women’s football matters.
Jacinta’s primary role is to liaise with Simon and the committee on womens appointment’s, recruitment, logistics, costings, assist in developing and implementing a long term plan, whilst assisting and complimenting Adrian Fittolani (senior womens coach) on all off field matters.
This role will be critical in ensuring that we reach our goal…long term women’s football success. Put simply, we want to provide the best environment we can, for women to enjoy and succeed in football.
Jacinta has long been an East Ringwood person. Along with husband Marc, she’s seen her children play with our junior club, both volunteering in several roles. Jacinta brings untold professional experience and a passion for community that we believe will benefit our program enormously.

Find out on our Facebook page who has already re-signed for 2023!

A sincere thank you to all our sponsors and members of the East Ringwood Football and Netball Club.

We have had a huge history that we acknowledge, many great years and many tough years too.

2022 felt like an incredible journey. Welcoming the Netball teams, integrating women into the club in a natural and powerful way.

We’ve changed how we go about being a club but at the heart of it all… are our people.

This includes the volunteers who work tirelessly, our members who believe in us and our sponsors who ensure that the East Ringwood community come together to support each other and build strong connections and neighbourhoods.

This year – all the hard work paid off.

It was incredible to bring 4 trophies home and to celebrate a real community effort and spirit.

Thank you to everyone involved – community sport is alive and well at East Ringwood Football and Netball Club.

Bring on 2023!

It was a fabulous night and great to celebrate community sports again.

East Ringwood Senior Men won their first premiership in 20 year on 12 September 2022.

They played the league leaders Mooroolbark Football Club with the score at the final siren 102 – 19.

The East Ringwood seniors played out of their skin to knock off the favourites and bring home the silverware.

It’s been an incredible year for the entire club and special thanks to all the players, volunteers, club members, sponsors and Coaches.

In the first grand final of their short 5 year history, the East Ringwood senior women’s team played Knox Football Club on Saturday 27 August, 2022.

The team inclusive of a new coach and club support had to rebuild in 2022. Being dropped from Division 1 to Division 2 during the covid interrupted seasons East Ringwood worked hard to field a team.

The team grew strong quickly and with each game became stronger and more competitive. They were the only team to beat Knox through the 2022 season. Unfortunately, losing the first final to Knox the Roos had a lot to play for. The Grand Final did not disappoint with the entertainment factor high and the women going into the fourth quarter ahead of Knox. But it wasn’t to be… Knox put up a great fight and took the glory with a 60 – 46 win.

Our women are keen to get into pre-season and get into season 2023.

The East Ringwood Black Netball team in Section 1 played against East Burwood Black in the grand final on September 2, 2022.

The Roos won in a close, high scoring game by 2 goals at H.E. Parker Reserve. Roos 55 – Bears 53.

Amazing effort by the team and fantastic for result for all of East Ringwood.
