On behalf of the entire Board of Management I would like to welcome all Players, Members and Sponsors to the 2022 season. It has been a huge off season for the club and we can’t wait to get some footy played.

Over the past 2 seasons our sponsors have been fantastic with supporting our club over what we can only say have been trying times for all businesses. – we are thrilled that we have maintained the support of all of our sponsors and some new ones have jumped on board in 2022. We are pleased to announce that our Platinum sponsors are Ringwood Mazda, Noel Jones Ringwood and Coopersmith Group. Over the coming weeks you will be noticing all our sponsors more on our social media – please support them and make sure you mention you are a Roo when visiting them.

On Field we have recruited on a needs basis and it was great to add Troy Wright and Stephen Dinell to the club as a Playing Assistant Coaches. We also welcome back Mitch Farmer and his brother Trent to the club – they are certainly going to excite the Roos fans in 2022. Also Jason Coghlan joins us from South Croydon as a small forward and we are looking forward to him featuring each week in the goals. We also welcome a number of recent Colts into the senior club and look forward to them being 200 game players at the Roos.

Adrian Fittolani has returned to the club to take charge of the Women’s program – he has brought some real enthusiasm to the role and we are looking forward to the girls continuing to improve in 2022.

Shaun Halit has a great group of Colts and after a successful season in 2021 we are looking forward to seeing the boys take the next step and develop as Senior footballers for the Pouch.

Christine Grey is the newly elected President of the Junior club and we have been working closely with her committee to ensure the transition to using the Coopersmith Pavilion in 2022 is a seamless one – you may not be aware that the home of Junior Roos is at Ainslie Park which is being developed this year so we will be hosting them for all functions.

The netball club will field 3 sides in the EFNL Friday night competition and we look forward to further integrating the clubs together in 2022.

Our Social Committee has been working hard behind the scenes to have a fun-filled year of events with the first major event being the President’s Lunch on 9th April. See the list of events for the season.

Thursday Nights are always fun so please make sure you come down for the teams to be read out, grab a meal and a drink.

The bar will be open after every game so win, lose or draw make sure you come back to the club for a drink and debrief. The footy will be on the big screen each and every Saturday night.

Don’t forget the best way to support our club is to purchase a membership – please click on the link to purchase a membership. This season the balcony and Coopersmith Pavilion will be open to Members Only on Match Days so join up and enjoy the fantastic facilities on a Saturday afternoon.

Look forward to seeing you at the footy this weekend and Go Roos.
